What to Expect from Our On-Site Forklift Training
At United Forklift Certification & Training Services, our on-site forklift certification is designed to deliver OSHA-compliant training directly at your facility—saving you time while ensuring your team is fully prepared to operate industrial lift equipment safely and effectively. Our training begins with a comprehensive, classroom-style safety presentation, followed by practical, hands-on instruction led by one of our certified safety trainers.
- Forklift operating hazards and risk mitigation
- Understanding the stability triangle and center of gravity
- Pre-operation safety inspections
- Reading data plates and nameplates
- Load handling, unloading procedures, and lift capacity awareness
- Navigating ramps, docks, and rail tracks safely
- Safe travel practices including turning, reversing, and parking
- Propane refueling protocols and emergency stop procedures
- Most sessions are completed in approximately 2 hours, but we can tailor the duration and content to match the specific needs of your operation or equipment type.
Get Your Official Forklift Certification
Upon successful completion of both the written and hands-on evaluation, participants will receive an official Powered Industrial Truck Certification Card, valid for 3 years, in full compliance with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910.178). Whether you have a small crew of 2-5 operators or a large staff of 50+ employees, we can accommodate training groups of all sizes across Southern California and surrounding regions.
