At United Forklift Certification and Training Services, we’re committed to raising the standard for forklift training across Southern California. Founded with the mission to improve workplace safety and operator competence, our roots go back to a time when forklift certification was treated more like a formality than a critical safety requirement.

When OSHA introduced mandatory forklift certification in 1998 in response to increasing workplace accidents, many training providers rushed to offer courses—but failed to focus on actual operator skill, safety habits, and equipment familiarity.

We set out to change that.

In 2006, our lead trainer—an industry veteran with hands-on forklift experience since 2000—recognized the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world operation. That insight led to the development of a program that blends OSHA-compliant safety instruction with real, practical forklift operation tailored to both new and experienced operators.
